Hello, I'm trouble shooting Parking Brake Indicator and Armrest Indicator Are Flashing on my CAT 226B serial number MJH08353. In the attached picture, in purple I highlight what I believe is the detent coil. On occasion the Park Brake Light and Arm Rest Light will flash but this is irregular. Both lights are typically just off. I believe the machine is stuck in interlock because the hydraulics remain limp and also I can not physically hear the Park Brake solenoid actuate. I have a cat 226b skidsteer and after doing some work I turned it off but when I went to fire it up, it wouldn't start, I noticed the seat belt light won't turn off when I put the bar down. Note: the seatbelt light is not flashing it stays illuminated. Armrest Indicator Is Flashing. Test Step 1. CHECK FOR A FLASHING ARMREST INDICATOR BEFORE THE SYSTEM IS ENABLED. It says in the manual, if this light is flashing amber to replace the Hydraulic bypass filter. which I have done, assuming that is the large main filter located on the inside of the door to the engine compartment.
I'm not sure if the cold has anything to do with this problem but after jumping my S175, the parking brake light continues to flash. Machine is fully operational. Any ideas?
