1 x length can get you 2 x chains for a 1845C. (one long & one short or 2 x short) In the old days, Case always used Diamond brand - not sure now... Easy to fit a joiner to an endless if required - grind of the peined ends of a link & drive the link out. In theory an endless chain will last longer than one with a joiner.
Rayhat, thanks for those instructions. I already went thru those adjustments right after I put the chains on. I learned a scary lesson too. I bought this skid steer with the steering linkage frozen up and the drive chains removed. So I freed up the steering linkage and remade the all thread part of the linkage. We always sourced the chains for the 1845C Case at the quarry where I worked from the same supplier we got our large Vee belts and other industrial drive parts from. However I'm trying to remember if we ever had to replace the chain from the hyd. motor to the idler gear, don't actually recall that one ever failing.
