I recently acquired a Kobelco Sk200LC Mark 4 excavator with the Cummins 6BT engine. The previous owner had rigged a PTO push/pull cable to the fuel shutoff. I bought a new 24V fuel shutoff solenoid and installed it. Machine fired right up but would not shut off with the key. Solenoid got super hot.
New fuel shut-off solenoid about 700 hours ago. Now within the last 50 or so hours it has been loosing power while digging. It gets worse after 20 minutes or so and continues downward. The safety lever switch sends power to the mode change switch and to the pilot system solenoid. When you power up the pilot system solenoid it delivers pilot pressure oil to all of the machine controls.
