Would it be worth while to invest in a set of over tire tracks for the skid steer or will I need an actual tracked machine to get the job done. I've got a set of Loegering tracks on my bobcat, actually same set I've had on last two bobcats (12 years old maybe older) never had a single problem with them. If I was looking to buy I'd look at Loegering, Grouser, and McLaren.

I have used a Cat 236B skid steer that had over the tires track for over 2000 Hrs and the chains were still good. Of course the oils were changed on schedule and the tracks not kept too tight.
