I was able to find out that drive motors were upgraded for 40xt, 60xt, 70xt by Case due to a issue with them leaking oil into the chain case. Build date codes are on the end of the drive motor from the manufacturer. The tag on the end of the drive motor has this format: Build date code: 20204 which means 202 day of year 2004. There is no unusual noise from the tandem/drive motor pump area when the machine stalls, it just refuses to push hard when both control arms are being used. It does this both in forward and reverse. Does this sound like a drive motor only issue, or a drive motor/ tandem pump issue? I know it seems to be a common issue with these skid steers. Mine runs great but the longer you run it the less power in drive Motors. Gets to a point that won't hardly move.
