Hydra-Mac made the 4100 series IH skid steers if that makes it easier to find the specs., etc. Hydra-Macs don't use a chain drive, it is all gears in the side cases. I've never heard of using Dextron in a skid steer but I'm sure there would be a skid steer forum where someone would have a Hydra-Mac manual or information on them. Denny Ferguson has retired. His son Doug is now the go to guy for all things Mitey-Mac or Hydra Mac and he works for Pocahontas Equipment 712-335-4522. By the way, Justin that does not appear to be an 8C in the picture. I was out looking on the forums and seen someone say Hydra-Mac made IH Skid Steers in the late 70s and early 80s, CaseIH bought the factory out and closed it down late 90's - 2000's. Hydra-Mac did build for Gehl though. then I also hear Gehl bought Hydra-Mac and IH Took excess of Hydra-Macs Inv. Does anybody know anything about the Hydra Mac skid steers? It's a long story that probably no one wants to hear, but I have acquired one at a great price. All it needed was a new battery and two hoses replaced- one was leaking and the other one was the only other one that hadn't already been replaced. ihmadness or anyone else out there know where and how to drain the engine oil on that 4140 skid steer with the Chrysler 4 cylinder gas engine? I did buy a manual for servicing the skid steer, but we are in the middle of moving and all my books are packed away so far, it might be months before I can lay my hands on them. Thanks, DonO
