Using a heat gun I melted the ice and drained the chain-case. Found and removed the broken chain. It had broken across 4 sequential links. I rotated the front-right wheel while examining the teeth of its driven sprocket (33). The teeth looked good. It helped to put a 4x8 sheet of plywood behind it to use as a smooth workspace and to stay out of the mud/grass. Hello, I have a 2015 CAT 259D and need to remove the front door and bypass the door latch switch in order to run a backhoe attachment. Is there a wiring harness plug or something needed to do this (and reverse the process when I reinstall the door)?
