I have a 345 skid steer that has been stripped of the rpm governor and all associated parts. bracket, pulley, linkage, governor etc. It has the ford 67 cu. in. gas industrial motor, also known as the english ford motor I'm told. Just got a bit of information on my Mustang 440 today from Mustang, Tom, This machine would have been made in 1976. We would not have an Operator's Manual for this machine. OMC went bankrupt in 1986 and all manuals prior to then are no longer available. I have heard of people purchasing them used on websites such as ebay.
Is there a part number or comparable replacement for these dampers as I would like to replace both since I am reworking the control linkages. The engine runs really well with the exception of a cracked manifold.

If your 440 has 2 steering levers (left & right) then it is clutch controlled with variable speed belt driven, exactly the same as a JD24. If your 440 has single lever T bar control it is hydrostatic drive and is same as a JD24A with exception of the engine.
