I have a 430 that I was running yesterday and the engine just suddenly shut .I have played with the lap bar switch but I can't tell if it won't go out of park .I finally got my 430 to crank back up. I'm still not sure what happened but bleeding .

Case 430 troubleshooting: engine, drive system, hydraulic system, and electrical system I finally got my 430 to crank back up. I'm still not sure what happened but . I have a 430 that I was running yesterday and the engine just suddenly shut down. Now it will not start back. The machine only has about 700 hours on it and has run trouble free until now.

I have played with the lap bar switch but I can't tell if it won't go out of park because the lap bar or if it thinks I'm not in the seat.Case 430 troubleshooting: engine, drive system, hydraulic system, and electrical system

I finally got my 430 to crank back up. I'm still not sure what happened but bleeding the fuel lines again got me going. I opened the bleeding screw on the fuel filter and then the two on the pump and once I got a good stream of fuel and tightened them back up, the machine cranked right up. I have had problems with the brake valve before. If this was the case, you should have low charge pressure, until you engage 2 speed. I would recommend checking your charge pressure. Should be 360psi at idle. Recently bought a regular Case 430 and have been looking it over. This is the first skid steer I've owned and I'm excited to have it. I went to give it a bath and I couldn't believe how much crap had accumulated in the tub! Must've been 2 . my 430 skid steer misses when it's above about 3/4 throttle and puffs white smoke when it misses.. runs perdectly fine under 3/4 throttle.. figuring it was maybe a injector..

I have a case 430 skid that when it gets down to 10 degrees it won't run wide open with out missing! It's acting like it's geled up but it idles fine and usually runs half throttle just fine! I changed both the main fuel filter and the in line filter and the fuel is treated to about -50! I just got a Case 430 in the yard a few weeks ago that has been working flawlessly for me. Went to move it yesterday and it starts up fine, but the (P) button to unlock the controls doesn't do anything.
