Find various parts for Ford V4 engines, including CL340, CL40, and 104 CID models. Shop online for balance shaft bushings, starter, carb kit, oil pump, and more. If that is the case, you can safely deduce that the 340 is the model number, because you are dealing with a "CL340" skid steer. The 2050 is going to be the machine serial number. As they were only made for two or three years, there is probably no technical reason to know what year it was made.The 4058 sold under the Kinsey name, is the same as the CL40 Ford. I was told the company is out of business, assets sold at local auction, and nobody continued the line. A good welder, and a good hydraulic shop, can take care of most of the problems, except the engine.
I want to rebuild it, and since a V4 is impossible to find and a wisconsin not much easier, Ive heard that the mid '80s bronco V6 2.8, mustang is the same Cologne engine. Can anyone verify the rear mounting plate for the hydraulic pump and the crank to pump adaptor is the same as the V4?
