I had a idea come together one afternoon with a few free hours so i whipped up . Built from scratch and my own design. Inspired by others I saw on the internet.

Here are some pics of my splitter.It rotates on A hub & spindle off A 3/4 ton pick-up.I didn't get pivot point just right,but I can still rotate it fairly easily.I can split most pieces at least twice, & some of the bigger ones even more. I get a lot of big wood and I need away to make it in to firewood easier. I regulary get 4 foot diameter logs. I cut it into rounds and then split into quarters by hand. It takes to long and I get to much wood to waste my time doing that. I looked at those cone style log splitters. I.

Hi Guys, I have designed a log splitter and a kindling splitter to attach to my skid steer. The blade on the end can be rotated depending on what you need to chop. I have attached a 3D pdf of the unit and photos of the valve. The 3D pdf will allow you to rotate the design and hide parts just. A real mini tracked skid steer is a far cry from a lawnmower with a loader. You can’t buy the stuff to build a good skid steer for less than buying a used one. If the end goal is to have a skid steer just buy one. If the goal is you want the challenge of building one than that’s different.
