Never done this before, but the one thing I can add from experience adapting different plow A-frames to different trucks; Make sure when you drop the plow down to the ground to plow, the pivot point of the plow will be plumb. I would take a universal plate, add mount ears to it, pin the old western to it. Make up some new hydro lines with flow reducers. Use the chain from the plow to a hook on the universal plate.
